Support the Brain Tumour Charity Exhibition, 'Time', with Volunteers and Donations
Hello Everyone,
This month I started working with The Brain Tumour Charity, a dedicated funder of research into brain tumours globally, which is hosting an exhibition titled, Time, at the Business Design Centre in London in April. The charity is looking for artists to donate art for the charity auction. If you’re interested, please let the TBTC know by this Friday.
Additionally, I will be offering a day-long workshop for the duration of the Time Exhibition on Saturday, April 8th with open drawing stations and a series of drawing exercises based on colour-as-feeling, sense of self, family dynamics, sharing experiences, or enhancing well-being and quality of life through artmaking. You don't need to book, and all activities are open to everyone. More details below.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
All the best,
Joshua
Donating work
It’s the final call to donate artwork to the Time Art Exhibition! If you’re interested, please do let the Time Art Exhibition team (time@thebraintumourcharity.org) know by 3 pm on Friday 24th March.
Your work will be exhibited from April 6th – 15th at the Business Design Centre, and the exhibition is shaping up to be a really international affair with amazing art from the US, Israel, and Australia as well as artists here in the UK. We have pieces from recognised artists such as David Shrigley and the recently named in Forbes 30 under 30, Nicholas Kontaxis, who is exhibiting an exclusive piece for us as well as some very emotive art submitted from our supporters that really capture what it is like to be part of the brain tumour community. We have chosen the broad theme of TIME as we hear all too often that people wish that they had had more time with loved ones or that they had had better quality time with them.
We’d love you to be involved!
Volunteering at the Exhibition
If you have any spare time over the Easter break and would like to volunteer at the Exhibition, The Brain Tumour Charity team would love to have you there. The exhibition will be open to the public between April 6th – 15th, and it would be a great opportunity to talk through some amazing artwork with the general public and help inspire potential buyers to bid on some beautiful artwork. The team will be installing the exhibition on April 2nd and 3rd, so if you could lend a hand with the installation process and work alongside the curators of the exhibition, that would also be brilliant!
If you’re able to donate any time, then please do let the Time Team know by emailing time@thebraintumourcharity.org.
